The founding director and business protection specialist of Enable Life has made it through to the finals in the Insurance Broker of the Year category in a national financial services award. Sam Hallett has made it through to the finals of the Women in Insurance Awards 2020.

She said: “I am beyond delighted to have received an email from the awards organisers saying that I’d made the finals, I am very proud of this achievement.  These awards are particularly significant in the financial services community and I’m honoured to have made the finals.”

Sam established Enable Life, a specialist insurance broker, in April 2019 after recovering from a suspected chronic illness which led to her to resign from her previous corporate role and live off her savings as she had no insurance protection in place to assist her. 

Helping clients to avoid mistakes I made

She added: “Health and wellbeing, including financial wellbeing, is now an absolute passion of mine.  My story is far from unusual and with my company I want to help our clients avoid the mistakes I made and protect themselves, their businesses, employees and families.”

The awards organisers said: “The entries were rigorously assessed by a panel of 31 eminent judges to come up with the finalist lists – something that was no easy feat considering the exceptional quality of the entrants’ submissions. A huge congratulations to all the finalists.”

Sam will find out if she’ll be crowned Insurance Broker of the Year on Tuesday, November 10.
