Fidler & Pepper’s conveyancing team hits the top 10

Matt Slade, Director and Head of Conveyancing Fidler and Pepper Lawyers.

Fidler & Pepper Lawyers, which has offices in Mansfield and Ashfield, have revealed that conveyancers at the company have been managing high volumes of work following the pause on the property market due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The final part of the conveyancing process is to apply to change land ownership at the Land Registry and each month a list of all of these applications are compiled and published by the Land Registry.

In September, Fidler & Pepper featured in ninth place out of more than 3,700 organisations involved in Conveyancing, showing it was one of the busiest law firms in England and Wales.

Matt Slade, Director and Head of Conveyancing at Fidler & Pepper Lawyers, said: “It has been a very difficult time for every business due to the impact of Coronavirus. The safety of our staff and our clients is our priority and we are proud to have made adjustments to our processes and our offices in response to Government guidelines.

“We are really pleased that clients have chosen to use Fidler & Pepper and trust us to help them through the legal process of buying or selling a property. To be in the top 10 out of over 3,700 in England and Wales is a great achievement.”

Up to date and on track

And Matt added: “Our case management system and the option for both home and office working has supported agile working which has enabled our staff to work effectively and efficiently. Our 24/7 Case Tracker, along with timely updates from Case Handlers has meant we have been able to keep our clients up to date and on track, even during these difficult times.”

Fidler & Pepper helps local clients close to its offices in Mansfield and Sutton in Ashfield but also has a large, national client base. The company also specialises in Private Client matters, including Wills, Power of Attorney, Care Fees and Probate.
